The Alpha Governance Standard defines the method, AGR expresses governance quality, and GMI expresses governance materiality.

Alpha Governance Standard
The public standard comprising the Alpha 12: the twelve dimensions Alpha evaluates across accountability, controls, disclosure, resilience, stakeholder impact, and corrigibility.
AGR
Alpha Governance Rating
The independent rating opinion that expresses how effectively an organization governs AI. AGR is a governance-quality view, not a model-safety certification or investment recommendation.
GMI
Governance Materiality Index
The companion materiality measure that indicates how much AI governance matters for a company based on dependency, strategic centrality, risk exposure, and stakeholder impact.

Alpha ratings are produced under the Alpha Governance Standard. The public methodology explains the Alpha 12, evidence standards, rating governance, and limits of opinion; exact weights, thresholds, downgrade rules, and company-specific scoring logic remain controlled to preserve rating integrity.
