David Eun

David Eun was a co-founder of Alakai Group, an investment firm, and an Operating Partner at Valo Ventures, a venture capital investment firm. Previously, Mr. Eun served as President and Chief Innovation Officer of Samsung Electronics, where he founded Samsung NEXT, an innovation group focused on startup investments, M&A, and new business creation. He began his career at NBC and later held senior leadership roles at Google, YouTube, AOL, and Time Warner. He serves on the Board of Directors of Howard Hughes Holdings Inc. and Versant.
Mr. Eun graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University and received his J.D. from Harvard Law School.
