Janet S. Wong is an accomplished business executive, qualified financial expert, and public company board director with more than 30 years of leadership in professional services and corporate governance.
She currently serves on the boards of Lucid Group (Nasdaq: LCID), a sustainable mobility company producing luxury electric vehicles and powertrain systems, TWFG (Nasdaq: TWFG), a leading national insurance platform, and Valvoline Inc. (NYSE: VVV), where she was elected to the Board at the company's January 28, 2026 Annual Meeting of Shareholders and serves as Chair of the Audit Committee. Her prior public company board experience includes Lumentum, Enviva, and Allegiance Bancshares, reflecting a portfolio that spans energy, advanced manufacturing, financial services, and technology.
A former senior partner at KPMG LLP based in San Francisco and Silicon Valley, Janet brings deep expertise in public accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, risk management, including cybersecurity and AI oversight, and M&A strategic planning across consumer products, energy, financial services, manufacturing, and technology.
Her governance experience extends to professional and nonprofit organizations, including current and past board roles with the Louisiana Tech University Foundation, the TriCities Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors, the Computer History Museum, and The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. Recognized by NACD's Directorship 100, Board Prospects' Top 30 Asian American Board Directors, and Directors & Boards' Women Public Company Directors to Watch, she is an established thought leader and frequent speaker on corporate governance, financial reporting, risk, and leadership.
Janet is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and NACD Certified Director, holds a Master of Professional Accountancy from Louisiana Tech University and a Master of Taxation from Golden Gate University, and has completed director-focused executive education at Harvard Business School and Stanford Law School, as well as a Certificate in Cyber-Risk Oversight from Carnegie Mellon University.
