Sonita Lontoh

Sonita Lontoh is a public company board director, AI governance partner, and former Fortune 100 C-suite executive with a focus on artificial intelligence, technology innovation, and digital transformation. She brings a global perspective across North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific, advising boards on how to leverage disruptive technologies to drive growth and long-term value.

Ms. Lontoh serves as an independent director of Sunrun (Nasdaq: RUN) and TrueBlue (NYSE: TBI), where she sits on the Audit, Compensation, Nominating and Governance, and Innovation and Technology Committees. She is also a Partner at Alpha, an AI governance firm providing board-level insights and frameworks for navigating AI risk and opportunity. In addition, she serves on the advisory boards of UC Berkeley Engineering's Jacobs Institute for Design Innovation and Sway Ventures.

She is actively engaged in leading governance institutions, serving on the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Blue Ribbon Commission on Board Culture and on the NACD/World Economic Forum/CGI Climate Advisory Council. She holds multiple governance and risk certifications, including NACD Directorship Certification, Cyber Risk Oversight Certification, Climate Governance Certification, and cybersecurity certification from the Digital Directors Network. She has also completed executive programs at Stanford Law School's Directors' College and Harvard Business School focused on audit and compensation.

Ms. Lontoh's 25-year operating career spans both Fortune 100 companies, including HP, Siemens, and PG&E, and venture-backed Silicon Valley startups such as Trilliant and GridNet. Her experience includes strategy, category creation, product marketing, and customer experience in high-growth and transformation environments.

She holds degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, and the University of California, Berkeley.
